Woman: And the girl tribute for District 12 is... Hanna Newbie!
Hannah: What? How did my name end up in that bowl? I'm a married woman!
Woman: What? You're not a teen anymore? Sorry, then we need to choose again!

And after all that excitement, the tributes were taken to their living quarters where they got some new clothes and then they can start training for the Hunger Games.
Gregoria and Stacey from District 8 are practicing on the archery equipment.
Donovan and Lea from district 4 are practicing their climbing skills.
Rosco and Mirarri from district 9 are discussing the plants and leaves that they could get in the arena.
Hunter and Diana from district 5 pretend it's knives that they throw at the dartboard.
Jurgen and Ella from district 1 are practicing on the treadmills.
Gertrude and Mick from district 3 are racing each other on the climbing wall.
Kezia and Loki from district 10 are practicing their archery skills.
Sonya and Mitchell from district 6 are practicing at the shooting range.
Darin and Shawna from district 2 read books all about snake bites and how to treat poison infection.
Marcia from district 11 makes fun of Enrique's athletic skills.
Hannah and Robert from district 12 are planning their tactical moves on the chess board.

After practicing for hours the tributes finally have some relaxing time.
Ella: Are you hungry? I think I will make us a salad to eat?
Jürgen: Just a salad? I can eat a horse!
Ella: Sorry, no horse in the fridge!
Jürgen: Haha... So how did you plan to get us alive back home?
Ella: Are you still mad at me for wanting you to join me?
Jürgen: Who won't be? You know we can't both go home if we are lucky to stay alive until the end... There is only one winner!
Ella: Yeah, I know...
Darin: Hey, hurry up! I want to go for a shower before bed.
Shawna: This thing is stuck here! Just help me to get it out then we can start!
Mick: Are there only ingredients for a salad in the fridge? I would've liked something more filling! *rubbing over his tummy* I'm starving!
Gertrude: Alas... Maybe they will provide us with something better tomorrow.

Robert: Who won't be? You know we can get killed there in the arena? This isn't just a normal reality show! These Capitol people are crazy and we really can die! If I didn't love you so much I would've left you on your own to survive this.
Hannah: I'm sorry, but I couldn't see that one of those teens ending up in the arena and getting killed. They are still so young.
Robert: And we are not? We still want kids! Maybe you are pregnant now?
Hannah: I'm not pregnant and I don't want kids to get killed one day in the Hunger Games! Maybe this is a blessing in disguise...
Sonya: Don't you want to watch this movie with me?
Mitchell: What is it about?
Sonya: It's about a young boy who got lost in a desert. His uncle died when they crashed his plane. The boy was the only survivor and must now survive until someone gets to him.
Mitchell: Sounds interesting. Maybe we can learn a thing or two about surviving...
Sonya: That's what I also thought!

Gertrude: Do you think we can survive in the arena?
Leif: Ask the lady who is a boffin in surviving on her own for days in the woods.

Ella: Yeah, that was always a dream to be a tribute and I practice a lot to become strong and learned everything that I have to, to survive the arena.
Host: So, do you think you will be able to survive the arena? You don't have any fears?
Ella: I do believe I can survive and the only fear I have is to lose my twin brother, Jürgen.
Host: So what is your strength that you think will help you to survive?
Ella: I'm sure my survival skills will help me!
Host: And there you got it all! Applause for the Survival girl of District 1!
Host: Our next tribute from district 1 is Ella's twin, Jürgen Frost!
Host: Is it true that you got bullied by your twin sister to volunteer?
Jürgen: Yeah, damn... But I need to protect her from the dangers of the arena.

Jürgen: I guess my strengths, being highly athletic, physically and mentally
resilient, will help me to protect both of us to the end.

Jürgen: Losing
Ella, and losing my morals.

Host: We have quite a lot of volunteers this year... I believe you also volunteered to be here? Why?
Gertrude: I'm tired of living in poverty and anything, even death, has got to be better than starving all the time, right?
Host: I always thought life is better than death? Are you prepared, do you have any fears?
Gertrude: I did practice a lot for the games and my fears are bats, and the darkness...
Host: So hopefully there aren't bats in the game. What strengths do you have to overcome your fears?
Gertrude: Creativity, and persistence. I'm sure I will think of something to hide from the enemy and I will never give up!
Host: And again, we got ourselves a very brave woman here! Applause for the Brave girl from District 3!
Host: And Hello to Mick Corinthus from District 3!
Host: I heard you're in the manufacturing business?
Mick: Yeah, and I want to build my own robots one day. That is if I get out alive here!
Host: Wow! Your own personal robot you say? I guess it will do everything you tell them to do? So what fears do you have?
Mick: I'm afraid of heights and insects.
Host: And what strengths do you have to survive the Hunger Games?
Mick: Mmmm... I think my perception will help me a lot but hopefully, my technical background will also help me to create some weapons to survive the arena.
Host: And that's our Tech Savvy guy! Applause for the boy from District 3!
Host: And here we got the girl from District 5, Diana Archer!
Host: I believe you are a good archer?
Diana: Hehe, I only know about archery what I've learned here. So hopefully it will help me in the game.

Diana: I once had a dream that I drowned. I guess that and the apocalypse.

Diana: I will, can, and shall do this! I believe my determination and creativity skills will take me through this!

Host: I love all these names, Archer, Hunter... May I ask if you're a good hunter?
Hunter: I think I do see myself as a good hunter. I love the outdoors and did camping and lived from the field all my life.
Host: So I guess you will survive the arena. What fears do you have?
Hunter: Bees... I'm allergic to bee stings.
Host: Ouch! And what other strengths do you have to survive the Hunger Games?
Hunter: I'm very observant and strong to keep me going!
Host: And there you are! A very strong boy from District 5! Applause!
Host: And the pretty lady coming on the stage now is Sonya Haynes from District 6!
Host: Although we got a lot of volunteers this year nobody wanted to volunteer for you when you asked them to?
Host: Oh well, I'm sure you will do well. What are your fears that can be an obstacle to surviving the arena?
Sonya: I'm really afraid to die!
Host: I'm sure all of us are afraid to die one day. But that is the way of life! What do you think will help you survive the arena? What are your strengths?
Sonya: My intellect! I believe I can outsmart everyone. I'm a survivor!

Mitchell: I went to the gym regularly, so I think I can run away fast if I need to...

Maple: I guess I am. I grow up cutting trees all my life!

Leif: I'm afraid of being betrayed by people, and losing my identity to the games.

Leif: I'm good at social skills and have a warm charm. I'm physically fit, good at forming bonds, and quite good at most tasks. I think I will survive!

Mirarri: You want to see something funny?
Host: Wow! That is funny...
Host: Do you know why you are here?
Mirarri: Yeah, I'm going to kill people and be the lone survivor and be rich for the rest of my life!

Mirarri: Yeah, fire and suspicious mushrooms! Do you want a muffin?

Loki: Alas no... I'm just an ordinary abandoned wild child that was raised by the moon the legends say!

Host: What? Are you afraid to go to bed? What are your strengths then?
Loki: In the arena, you will get killed when you are asleep. And I believe my knowledge of nature will help me survive.

Host: Our last girl, or must I say, woman, from District 12, Hannah Newbie!
Host: I must say it's a first that we have a married woman as a tribute in the games... Your name got accidentally in the bowl and you got chosen. Why did you volunteer when they want to rectify it?
Hannah: I couldn't let any of that young girls do it after looking into their eyes. They are so young and they got their whole life in front of them!
Host: You are a very extraordinary woman to volunteer and give those girls another year to live! So how are you planning to stay alive in the games? What are you afraid of?
Hannah: I got my husband with me so I don't fear anything!
Host: Yep, hubby is going to protect you at all costs... And strengths?
Hannah: I'm a survivor and I can do this! Come hell or high water!
