Episode 3 - Oops! I did it again!

Day 3

The Swamp:

Robert: Are you sure we need to split up?

Hannah: I don't know, only time will tell. I just know that I don't want to be the reason you die...

Robert: Yeah, the same. I won't live with myself if I have to kill you...

Hannah: I guess it's time to go now...

And then one last kiss... Will they see each other again? Only time will tell!

The Lake:

Loki: I can't believe Kezia died last night! I wonder what happened?

Rosco: Who knows? Maybe an attacker or a natural disaster?

Loki: Yeah, we just see the tributes are dead in the sky but not how they died... Are you going to the Cornucopia?

Rosco: I don't think so. Too many people there to my liking. Are you?

Loki: Yeah, I want to see if I can find out what happened to Kezia...

Rosco: Just don't walk open eyes into the lion's den! Be careful!

Loki: I will...

The Tree House:

Ella wonders if she will see her twin today...

She still doesn't know where to go from here... She hopes she can find something useful at the Cornucopia.

The Cave:

Mick: Are you okay?

Diana: No! I'm not! Hunter is dead! And I did it! It's all my fault!

Mick: Yeah, it should've been me... I'm so sorry, Diana...

Diana: Yeah, it should've been you! Why did Hunter grab the weapon from me?

Mick: I guess he didn't want you to shoot me. But hey, you are still alive and need to go on! You still need to fight! And we need to go now! Are you coming with me to the Cornucopia?

Diana: No... You go!

Mick: Okay... Bye then!

The Forest:

Mirrari decides to leave the forest early before anyone else sees her.

She wonders if she will be lucky to get another weapon at the Cornucopia.

Sonya: Are you sure you are okay? Your wound healed?

Jürgen: Good as new! *shows her the wound that healed perfectly overnight.*

Sonya: Yeah, the medicine that you got works like a miracle. If it wasn't for that you would've been dead!

Jürgen: If it wasn't for you, I would've been dead. I was unconscious and couldn't help myself! I can't stop thanking you for saving my life...

Sonya: Aww... Anyone would've done it!

Maple: Not me! I wouldn't! *Jürgen and Sonya didn't see Maple coming and got startled by her voice* I would've just left him there to die! One tribute less to kill later on!

Sonya: Really? How cruel!

Maple: That's the way of the game! You can't keep on saving people to kill them later on again! That's cruel! *and leaves them speechless when she left*

Sonya: She's evil... We need to watch out for her!

Jürgen: Yeah...

The Cornucopia:

Mitchell: I guess it's time to move on to another location.

Leif: Yeah, I just want to look around before I leave.

Gertie: Yeah, me too... Are we're going to the same place?

Mitchell: I'm heading for the forest, my food supplies are getting low...

Gertie: I'm feeling for some scenery and will go to the lake!

Leif: I still have to decide where I'm going. Be safe!

Gertie can't believe her eyes when she finds a bag and opens it: Yes! I got some medicine! (immunity)

Leif: Aww, dry food is better than an empty bag! *after he founds a bag and opens it*

Mitchell just runs off to the forest without getting anything from the cornucopia!

The Cave:

Diana decided to talk to the dry tree in front of the cave after Mick has left: I knew one or both of us would die, but I thought I would be first, not Hunter! He should have been the one to survive, to represent our District. Why did he have to get in my way and try to stop me from shooting Mick? It's all his fault he's dead! Now I have to stay alive for both of us so we will be remembered. Maybe if I can just stay away from everyone else and find enough food and water, it will be all right. It's better this way; he was always so bossy anyway!

The Cornucopia:

Mapled arrives at the cornucopia and starts looking around for stuff. Maybe she can find something useful. She won't say no to a weapon, dry food, or another tin of medicine. (Immunity)

But she can't find anything. It looks as if the other tributes already took everything!

She didn't see or hear Hannah before they bump into each other.

And they fall down on the ground.

They both were quickly back onto their feet and Maple wondered if Hannah is going to attack her when she looks at her. Hannah seems not to carry a weapon so she decides it's safe to just leave her there without a confrontation.

She runs as fast as she can from the cornucopia.

Back at the Cornucopia:

Sonya was looking around for stuff at the cornucopia and found a bag with dry food in it.

She also walks into Mick and decides to talk to him: Did you see any of the other tributes last night?

Mick: Yeah, I did... *and tells her about Diana, Hunter, and Kezia, and what happened at the cave last night*

Sonya: Oh nooo... That's horrible! * and then also tells her story about how she saved Jürgen's life after Mirrari shot him*

Just then Loki also arrives at the Cornucopia and sees the two talking. He doesn't see any weapons on them and decides it might be safe to talk to them. They probably know what happened with Kezia last night!

Diana arrives a little later at the cornucopia and can't believes her eyes when she saw the rifle.

Diana: Nooo!!! I don't see it! It's my imagination! Not again! *she just wants to turn around and runs back in the direction she came from*

But the rifle draws her nearer like a magnet and then she takes it! She turns around and disappears in the direction she came from. She knows she can't go back to the cave. Hopefully, the tree house will be unoccupied and she will be safe there and doesn't have to kill anyone.

The Shack:

The Shack isn't far from the swamp and Robert arrives quite early there.

Robert: Aww, look at all the wild horses. Maybe I can make some friends. *but they walk away when he gets near them*

Robert: Oh well, what is this? *looking at the wooden statue*

Robert: Do you know if my wife will be safe in the cave? *talks to the face*

The Cornucopia:

Ella is surprised when she found a gun just lying there under the tree. Why didn't any of the other tributes find it? Oh well, she won't say no to a gun and grabs it.

Ella also decides to take the long path to the cave and on her way she meets her twin. They were glad to see each other still alive and hugged.

Ella: Are you okay?

Jürgen: I'm fine! But I almost didn't make it!

Ella: Didn't make what? *confused*

Jürgen: I was shot last night! *And then tells her all about last night and how Sonya saved his life*

The Lake:

Gertie is enjoying the scenery at the lake and wonders about the death of Hunter and Kezia. She didn't meet anyone on her way here who knows about what happened with them last night... She's all alone here at the lake for the moment and she hopes it stays that way. She quickly gathered water and then looks for a place where she can sleep the night.

The Forest:

Rosco arrives quite late at the forest and sees Leif and Mitchell talking. He wonders if he must mind his own business and gets himself another spot for the night.

But he is curious about the deaths last night and maybe they know about it.

But they were together at the Cornucopia last night and just know what he knows... Sweet blow nothing! Oh well... All they can do now is speculate about it!

The Cave:

Hannah is quite thirsty and hungry when she arrives at the cave. And she's starting to get second thoughts about leaving Robert. She's still rattled about her bumping into Maple earlier at the Cornucopia when she was looking for stuff there. What if Maple was armed and attacked her? Robert could've protected her if he was there. Oh well, by the looks of the cave she has a place for herself. She just hopes she doesn't have to share it with a bear or worse an attacker!

The Tree House:

It's dark when Diana arrives at the tree house. She hopes she got the place for herself. She's really not in the mood for other people and she also doesn't want to kill anyone. Hunter was enough for a lifetime.

Mirrari was in her favorite spot in the big tree when she saw someone approaching.

She immediately saw that Diana is armed and decides to hide. She didn't get anything at the cornucopia and can't defends herself.

Diana is almost at the tree house when she heard something. Mirrari wants to change her position and accidentally broke a stick.

Diana: Who's there? *she squints her eyes but can't see anything* Who's there? Come out so that I can see you! Or I will shoot!

Mirrari is still not sure if she must reveal herself or not. What if Diana shoots her?

Diana: I'm going to shoot you now! *raising the rifle in the direction of the noise*

Mirrari: Wait! It's just me, Mirrari! *coming down from the tree* Don't shoot!

Mirrari walks slowly forward and then stops in front of Diana. Diana is still aiming the rifle at her.

Mirrari: Don't shoot! I am unarmed! *But all of a sudden birds scatter behind Diana and fly up in the air. Diana got startled because of it and a shot goes off*

Mirrari's eyes widened open in shock and then she collapses slowly to the ground.

Diana: What the...? *she sees Mirrari lying on the ground and is scared to go near her. What if she's dead?*

She let the rifle fells to the ground and gives Mirrari one look and then turns around and runs away. The only thing that goes through her mind is: Not again! Why me? Why do I have to kill? Why did I take the rifle?

The Shack:

It's quite late when Jürgen arrives at the Shack. He is glad that he saw Ella today. He doesn't know how long they can stay alive.

He just thought the Shack is deserted when the door opens and Robert came out. He just hopes he isn't armed! He didn't get something from the Cornucopia to defend himself with!

But Robert is unarmed just like himself: Did you see any of the other tributes on your way here? *he asks*

Jürgen: Just my twin... *looking around* Where's Hannah?

Robert: She went to the cave. We decided to go separate ways because we are scared we need to kill each other.

Jürgen: I know that feeling. That's why Ella and I go our separate ways every day. But we were lucky to meet every day so far...

The Cave:

It's quite late when Ella arrives at the Cave. It seems that the place is deserted.

But as she moves closer to the entrance she hears a shuffling noise inside the cave.

Ella: Who's there? *She started to get paranoid because she heard the rumors about how Kezia died last night and wonders if the bear is back*

She aims her gun at the entrance. She still hears the shuffling noise inside and decided it must be the bear. If it was one of the tributes they would've come out by now!

When she hears a snoring sound she's almost certain it must be the bear and she shoots inside the cave.

She walks slowly through the entrance and hopes the bear isn't just wounded and can still attack her. But she doesn't hear the shuffling noise anymore. So hopefully the bear is dead!

But it wasn't a bear that she shot. It was Hannah whom she heard inside the cave all the time. She must have fallen asleep and what she thought was the bear was actually Hannah snoring.
